AmeriCorps Program Planning Grant

2019-2020 AmeriCorps*State Planning Grant Request for Proposals: DEADLINE PASSED FOR THIS CYCLE

*A similar planning grant competition may occur in spring 2019. All information below is provided for your reference.

Oftentimes organizations are interested in utilizing AmeriCorps resources, but they aren't quite sure where to begin. From developing a logic model to familiarizing yourself with national service, there is a lot to be done. The AmeriCorps Planning Grant Request for Proposals (RFP) was created to reduce organizations' barriers to creating an AmeriCorps program. Grantees will receive direct technical assistance from Serve Wisconsin and up to 12 months of funding to plan an AmeriCorps program.

Planning grant activities may involve work to establish a new program in Wisconsin or to replicate a successful existing program model in unserved or underserved areas of the state. Organizations use planning grants to become better prepared to compete for an AmeriCorps program grant in the subsequent grant cycle (2020-2021).

Applicants are required to submit a Notification of Intent to Apply by April 24, 2019 by 11:59 PM CT.

See RFP #1920-WNCSB-PG below for more details.
