Jeanne Duffy has over 30 years of experience in community development, management, fundraising, lending and engaging people of all ages in service & philanthropy both domestically and internationally. She joined Serve Wisconsin in December 2016, bringing her commitment to service and engaging people from all backgrounds to create stronger communities through AmeriCorps service. She is an accomplished leader; successfully guiding a $14 million nonprofit through the sudden departure of their long-term executive director and a year-long transition. She currently manages over $7 million in federal and state funds and a professional staff. Jeanne volunteered for five years immediately out of college. Her first placement was at Chicago’s 8th Day Center for Justice, where she is eternally grateful for the staff whose commitment to justice and overcoming systemic poverty inspire her to this day. Internationally, she spent two years organizing and securing funding for schools on the Caribbean coast of Guatemala in the early 1990s. Jeanne and her husband have three children. She enjoys family activities, attending her children’s events, running, and horseback riding.

Kyle joined Serve Wisconsin in November 2018 after relocating to the Madison area. Before joining Serve Wisconsin, Kyle taught history and government in California and Missouri, spending over a decade teaching the value of active citizenship and global awareness. Additionally, Kyle gained valuable insights into the impacts of active citizenry and programs on communities and conducting outreach to inform and engage the public during his work for the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Missouri before becoming a teacher. After years of emphasizing how we can make a difference for our fellow citizens to his students in the classroom, Kyle was excited to bring these passions and experience to Serve Wisconsin and promote the work done by our AmeriCorps members and programs. When not in the office, Kyle enjoys spending his time playing and reading with his two children and competing in racquetball and curling leagues.

RACHEL DONALDSON / VOLUNTEER GENERATION FUND PROGRAM officer

Rachel joined Serve Wisconsin in February 2023 as our Volunteer Generation Fund Program Officer, leading our efforts to support volunteerism and practices to increase volunteer recruitment and retention, as well as disaster response efforts, including the Wisconsin AmeriCorps Disaster Team. Prior to starting at Serve Wisconsin, Rachel was the Director of United Way of Dane County’s 211 Program. 211 is a free telephone number providing access to local community services like physical and mental health resources; housing, utility, food, and employment assistance; and suicide and crisis interventions. Before managing 211, Rachel was a Peace Corps volunteer, serving in Togo, West Africa and focused on Girls Education and Empowerment and Natural Resource Management. Rachel is a proud alum of UW-Madison and loves the Badgers. When Rachel is out of the office, she can be found baking, hiking with her husband and two sons, and unplugging at their cabin in the Driftless region.

AMY FINK / Program Officer

As one of Serve Wisconsin’s Program Officers, Amy Fink uses her years of experience as an AmeriCorps program director to lead monitoring efforts for Wisconsin programs. Prior to joining Serve Wisconsin in August 2022, Amy was the program director for the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire ECLIPSE AmeriCorps programs, whose AmeriCorps members provide one-on-one interventions to 3-5 year old children. Before leading the ECLIPSE AmeriCorps program, taught multiple grades of elementary school students across her ten years as an elementary teacher. When Amy is out of the office, she can be found hiking, biking, swimming coaching youth soccer, enjoying live music, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

BROOKS GALLMAN / FISCAL Officer

Brooks joined Serve Wisconsin in May 2023, bringing a decade’s worth of experience in the public and nonprofit sector. As a Fiscal Program Officer, he will assist in providing financial oversight and technical assistance to programs applying for and receiving AmeriCorps funding. Prior to joining the team, Brooks served as a Budget and Policy Analyst at the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development where he monitored the budgets for the agency’s Equal Rights Division, Registered and Youth Apprenticeship programs, and a handful of employment training programs administered by DWD. As a Research Analyst with the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families, he was a subject matter expert in the data and reporting landscape for the state’s child welfare and youth justice systems. Brooks is a proud AmeriCorps Alum having served for two terms in Austin, TX with College Forward and Keep Austin Housed. Outside of his duties with Serve Wisconsin, Brooks enjoys cooking, baking, spending time with his wife, daughter, and son, and anything music related.

OLIVIA RASMUSSEN / Program Officer

Before joining Serve Wisconsin in August 2022, Olivia completed two service terms with AmeriCorps while finding her passion for civic engagement. After her undergraduate, she served with City Year in Washington, D.C. as a Student Success Coach working with 7th graders in an English classroom working toward strengthening her students' academic and social-emotional skills. Olivia also previously served with NCCAP AmeriCorps with the Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy & Service (WIPPS), assisting with the development of a Wausau community policing survey and a study on the barriers for Hmong caregivers of those with IDD. When Olivia is out of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and trying out new coffee shops.

 
 

steven yule / Senior GRANTS MANAGER

As Serve Wisconsin’s longest serving staffer, Steven provides guidance and oversight for Serve Wisconsin’s operations, in addition to managing a portfolio of AmeriCorps program grants and managing projects and processes that result from new federal requirements. Steven is also engaged in activities related to national service practices and policies on the national level. Having had helping others instilled from an early age, he has been engaged in providing community service and helping others for most of his life.

 

Anna zoellner / FISCAL OFFICER

As our Senior Auditor, Anna Zoellner will be drawing upon her years of experience as an auditor and financial/tax analyst to provide assistance to AmeriCorps programs. Prior to joining Serve Wisconsin in April 2023, Anna spent several years in both public accounting, working primarily with non-profit and low-income housing clients, and in the private financial sector. Anna is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner. When Anna is not in the office, she enjoys baking, climbing, playing piano, and hiking with friends.
